How do I register my child for admission?

Where is The King's School Canterbury, Bengaluru located?

The King's School Canterbury, Bengaluru is located in Yelahanka, North Bengaluru, behind the BSF. The school is well connected by road from Hebbal, the airport corridor, and Yelahanka new town.

What is the age criteria for admission?

The King's School Canterbury, Bengaluru welcomes children from age 3 to age 7, across four year groups:

  • Nursery (age 3)
  • EY1 — Early Years 1 (age 4)
  • EY2 — Early Years 2 (age 5)
  • Grade 1 (age 6–7)

What are the school timings?

  • Nursery (age 3): 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.
  • EY1, EY2, and Grade 1: 8:00 am to 3:30pm.
  • After-school activities: 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
  • Late club available until 6:00pm.
All timings are indicative and subject to formal confirmation before publishing.

What is the fee structure?

The fees reflect the standard of education being offered: a genuine King's Canterbury curriculum, teachers appointed and trained through the King's Canterbury framework, and a campus designed specifically for early years learning in Bengaluru.

Does the school offer transport?

Transport services are planned for key residential areas across North Bengaluru, subject to demand and final route planning.

Is this genuinely connected to The King’s School Canterbury?

The King’s School Canterbury, Bengaluru is developed in partnership with The King's School Canterbury and Vidyanidhi Education Trust (VET).

The curriculum, academic oversight, teacher recruitment framework, and quality assurance processes are all shaped in close collaboration with Canterbury, ensuring that the school reflects the standards and educational philosophy associated with a King’s education.

When does the school open?

The King's School Canterbury, Bengaluru opens for Academic Year 2027–28, beginning in September 2027.

Will my child's education be recognised internationally — can we move schools if we relocate?

Yes.

The school follows the EYFS and English curriculum pathway used widely across British international schools globally. This provides strong continuity for families who may relocate internationally in the future.

Will the school expand beyond Grade 1?

Yes. King's Bengaluru opens with Nursery through Grade 1 and will expand its year groups progressively. Our Yelahanka campus is the beginning of the journey, designed specifically for the founding generation of King's children in India. As those children progress, the school will grow with them. In the years ahead, the school will move to a purpose-built 50-acre campus within Century One World, a landmark development in North Bengaluru, offering a complete King's education from Nursery through to the senior years.

What language of instruction does the school use?

English is the language of instruction throughout the school.

Children from all linguistic backgrounds are warmly welcomed, and the early years environment is designed to support language development naturally and confidently.
